CHILDREN AND HYPNOSIS
Hypnotic methods can be used successfully in children from 3-4 years of age. Children are much more suggestible than adults. They have great imaginations and fewer psychological blocks in communication. Therefore, the hypnotic influence of the child is usually very rapid. Techniques can be direct, but also indirect, such as fairy tales, in which various literary forms such as parable, allegory, hyperbole, etc. are present. Hypnosis can be applied for the following diagnoses:
Obsessive compulsive disorder and phobias (water, animals, school, darkness, etc.)
States of anxiety, nervousness and intense fear
Obesity and anorexia Nocturnal enuresis
Insomnia Behavioural disorders and hyperactivity
Loss of a loved one (death, parental divorce, abandonment)
Speech disorders (stuttering)
Tics
Self-harm (self-mutilation)
